The back cover blurb:

One taste is all it takes. For those who feast on blood, Jillian Conrad is a fatal attraction. after being injected with a poison that make her blood both irresistible and deadly to vampires, she was used as a pawn to assassinate the vampire kind. Now the vampires want her eliminated. Hunted and unable to return to her old life, Jillian desperately seeks to prevent the formula in her veins from killing her. And she must find a way to help her dhampyr protector, Declan, whose exposure to the poison has split his personality into one part uncontrolled desire and one part stone-cold killer. But an even greater danger is rising. The Amarantos-a secret society of vampires- is seeking the infant daughter of the slain king to complete the vampires’ quest for true immortality. And if the succeed, no one, living or undead, will escape the darkness…

This book is the sequel to Nightshade by Michelle Rowen. Nightshade was an impulse Kindle buy that I couldn’t stop reading. Bloodlust was an easgerly anticiapted buy that had the same resulst. A non stop read through. Full of action, romance and some sizzling sex scenes, this book will give paranormal romance lovers everything they crave. Bloodlust is told in a first person narrative, as with Nightshade, and the main character, Jillian, is realistically strong. If you enjoy a semi love triangle, Bloodlust has got that too. I suggest reading Nightshade by Michelle Rowen before tackling this novel, but it’s not mandatory. Everything is explained well enough, but there is a lot going on and it will be easier for you to keep up if you read the series in order.
