This week, Tasha wanted our guests to post what they would normally post on their personal blogs. I believe she wanted to give the readers an even deeper look into who these writers are and how their minds work. Let’s delve into the author mind of Dominique WaterSinger Goodall, shall we?
It’s been a long while since I posted something in here that wasn’t a flash fiction, interview or review. This is a rant about people who like to let you down. I’ve been trying to get a second hedgehog (my writing buddies) and rather than get another baby hedgehog, I wanted to rescue one. I’ve applied for two different hedgehogs, and both have let me down.
I’ve seen a lot of people giving hedgehogs away further from me, but the whole fact is that I’m really depressed over the way people can use you. One of the hedgehogs is being actively abused; he has no toys, nothing to enrich his life except a wheel. The other wasn’t being abused, just needed a good home.
I’ve been grumpy for two weeks now because of it, not able to do what I know I should. I’ve not written as much these last few weeks, but now I’m trying to get back into a habit of writing. For the moment I’m working on my Camp NaNo 2012 novel- can anyone see Spring Surrender being written completely during this month?
Can anyone think up some good names for the follow-up to Echoes of Winter? I don’t think Spring Surrender fits too well…
Does anyone wanna predict an end word count for the end of June? As of June 10th, I’m at 19,000 words…
Dominique Goodall is the author of the soon to be released Echoes of Winter, book one in the Seasons of the Wolf series and a self-confessed wolf addict. She has currently been published in two anthologies by Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly Publishing and is currently working on getting herself better known by sending in manuscripts for as many different anthologies as she possibly can.
As much as she loves to admit it, she never will be able to count her wolf stuff- there’s nothing left for her to be truly able to collect without her own home.
Thank you, Dominique. Having Hedgehogs for writing buddies surely is interesting. If you’d like to get to know more about this writer, here are all the places you can find her.
