First Five: Badd Motherf*cker by Jasinda Wilder PART 2

Okay. I’m only 5% into this book, but WHOA. I’m loving it and I’m going to share a few of the lines that PROVE Jasinda Wilder has the kind of writing chops it takes to make it in this dog-eat-dog (but not really) world. Now, in no particular order:

  1. On that, her premonition remained undecided, churning up a strange mix of contradicting feelings: a sense of trepidation, but also excitement.
  2. The dream always began in the midst of a heart-pounding pursuit…
  3. Out of breath and desperate, she was running for her life through a dark wood–a pack of vicious wolves on her heels. With hellhounds’ terrible red-glowing-eyes and snarling muzzles never far behind, her panting breaths were the only other sounds to disturb the quiet of the night. 🙂

Again, I’m not far into this read, but I couldn’t NOT share some of the lines. They immerse a reader, and have nothing to do with sex.

YET! jwilder
