I hate. I thought I hated before the letter, before the werewolves, but now I understand that was nothing more than a chip on my shoulder. The urbat took what was mine. And, they will pay.
Isabelle leads a very normal life…for an emotional syphon. If not for Ethan and his bar, she would have lost her sanity long ago. But everything changes with the crash of her fighting cage and a man who transforms into a wolf. There’s something about Carlos—when he’s not growling at her—that makes her do things she wouldn’t normally do, like sigh and daydream.
Attraction aside, she is faced the very real evidence that werewolves and urbat exist, and the urbat are after her. And the only way she can keep Ethan safe is to join with the werewolves and Carlos. It’s a race against time to stop a war, fight for love, and find the last Judgement.
Judgement of the Six reading order:
SENTENCE ONE: The phone rang before my alarm.
THOUGHTS: ….The phone rang, okay.
SENTENCE TWO: Hell hath no fury like a woman woken before her alarm.
SENTENCE THREE : I fumbled to find the phone in the dark.
THOUGHTS: We’ve all been there.
SENTENCE FOUR: “Hello?” My voice cracked.
SENTENCE FIVE: “Hey, Z. This is your reminder to pack your bag. You promised to cover tonight.”
THOUGHTS: She’s gotta work tonight and she’s going in unrested. Can we say cranky?
MORE SENTENCES: “Ethan. You are sick to call me this early. I said I’ll be there. Now leave me alone.” I ended the call without a good-bye.
THOUGHTS: They are familiar. Close. I like Ethan’s name and the familiarity he has with this, Z character.
WHY I DECIDED TO WRITE ABOUT THIS BOOK~~ I bought this book on accident. Which isn’t to say I don’t LOVE this author. Because I do. 100%. I had just read the FIRST book in this series and loved it. BTW, the FIRST read was FREE and totally worth it. (I’ll do a FF on it ASAP.) Anyway, the author is why I decided to keep and read the book. OMGosh! SO glad I did. I didn’t realize this was the 5th (newest) book in the series. Having only read the first, I jumped a considerable distance in the series. You’d think that would be B-A-D. And at first, I thought it might be, but let me tell you how incredible this novel is. It’s the only book that’s literally made me wail like a small child since Karen Marie Moning. This is an action packed, romantic book with so many feels that it deserves every penny it’s earned and every star that goes along with it. The series itself is wonderful. Melissa Haag is a great author. LOVE her. LOVE her books. LOVE blogging about awesome reads. This book is $2.99 and WORTH IT!
